This early drawing comes from an era when I was only just discovering my love for stone dragon sculptures. Its name has a double meaning; firstly, he glares directly at you with the stance and burning ferocity of a charging bull. Secondly, the bold red markings on the dragon’s face illustrate a build up of energy, as if it were a fully charged battery ready to exert an immense amount of force.
