Biography

In 2018, Maja moved to Paris and completed her studies in Fashion Design at ESMOD Paris. Her exposure to French culture, language and people was a formative experience that shaped her as an artist today.

To express the multicultural identity of Hong Kong people, she combines historical and cultural subjects with modern styles, and is particularly infatuated by Chinese stone-carved dragons, which are found all over Hong Kong. She reimagines these creatures, breathing life and passion into them in the form of colour and texture.
